You Can Help Keep the Barn Lights On
While Losing the Farm shares beautiful vistas from an idyllic farming community, it’s a raw look at the mounting challenges that local farming faces to compete in a global marketplace, as pressures much closer to home continue to stack up. These are some of the reasons family farmers are appealing to voters across our state who value our family farms. Washington is a great place to farm. Soil, climate, a great multi-generation farming legacy. But, too many state leaders don’t value farming like you do. We’ve tried talking to them. They won’t listen to us. Instead, they ratchet up pressures on farming. Find out more here. If it’s not one thing, it’s another. Please add your name to our growing list of voters concerned about the survival of farming in our state. You will be kept informed of the critical issues we face. When the time is right and the future is on the line, we may ask you to reach out to your elected representatives and the state leaders responsible. Those supporting farming need your encouragement. Those showing disregard or seek to end farming need to hear from you, too. |
